The motif was inspired by the skill of Katsushika Hokusai, particularly his “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji,” such as the famous painting “The Great Wave of Kanagawa.” The dial is covered with single.6-mm hands-engraved 18k gold wave, which appears to become emanating in the tourbillon carriage at 9 o’clock.
